Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 October 2026
By using the Al Muslim mobile app, the Al-Masjidh website at https://almasjidh.com, the mosque office portal, or related services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Acceptance
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of a mosque or organisation, you confirm you are allowed to bind that organisation.
2. What the Services are
Al Muslim is the consumer app: prayer times, Qibla, mosque finder, Quran and Islamic tools, following a mosque for news, alerts, and janaza, and related features.
Al-Masjidh is the website and mosque platform: public pages, mosque registration, the mosque office dashboard, follow QR / posters, and operational tools (announcements, janaza, Jamaat register, finance ledgers, and similar). We may update or discontinue features with reasonable notice where possible.
3. Accounts and access
Al Muslim may be used as a guest or with a verified Sri Lankan mobile number. Mosque office and admin tools require login credentials. You are responsible for keeping credentials and OTP codes confidential and for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or puts the Services at risk. Following a mosque in Al Muslim does not by itself make you a member of that mosque's Jamaat roll.
4. Acceptable use
Use the Services only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the app or website, attempt unauthorised access to systems or data, interfere with other users, upload unlawful or harmful content, or use mosque tools to harass or mislead people.
5. Mosque data and content
Mosques are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of information they publish (announcements, janaza details, contacts, financial records, and similar). People who follow a mosque understand that the mosque may send operational notices through the Services. Prayer times and religious content are for general guidance; for rulings, refer to qualified scholars.
6. Intellectual property
The Al-Masjidh and Al Muslim brands, software, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials without permission. Quran and hadith texts are used under applicable licences and attribution.
7. Privacy
How we collect and use personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Services are provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed under applicable law.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
